My artist practice explores the elements of nature, and the different prospectives created through capturing movement over time. Long exposure images are created to provide a surreal view of nature, focusing on the amazing colours of the Australian bush, and capturing the lines, shapes and textures of my subject.
I have been a photographer for over thirty years published in magazines and commercially both in Australia and the United Kingdom. My fine art work is concerned with the landscape and concentrates on the harshness of the Australian experience. My ongoing challenge is to document the way the sun illuminates the reds, greens and browns of my country and to reflect its fascination with the sea and surf.
