Join us at Turks Head Gallery for an introduction to portrait photography, using both natural and artificial light.
Albury photographer John Vandeven will take us through his portrait session, and we will learn how to position the model to make the most of available light (with sunlight and flash), and John will also give us some valuable tips on how to pose the subject.
This is an introduction to taking a portrait and is ideal for those new to portraiture, and experienced photographers that want to get more out of their lighting and posing techniques.
John will show us how to get the most out of various lighting situations, and will also show us how to pose the model to capture beautiful portraits of your subject.
This workshop includes a demonstration by John on how he captures portrait images of the models he photographs, and you will also be able to take images yourself with both natural and artificial light. We will have flash triggers available for Nikon, Canon and Sony camera systems.
